How my journey began

Loreto A. Ruiz is a Licensed Massage Therapist, Reiki Master Teacher and a Meta-Consciousness Practitioner. She believes that holistic Mind-Body-Soul awareness become realistic and achievable in a healing practice that embraces self-acceptance, mutual respect and a continual journey that awakens towards the beauty of All.

Loreto’s mission has always been to enlighten and make the world a better place. She’s been blessed with the  fortune of collaborating and learning with peacemakers and healers to establish a true and lasting peace on our beautiful Gaia – Mother Earth. After several soul-affirming and life-transforming peace walks throughout the United States and Europe, the calling of her own Spirit led her to search for life’s deeper meaning in the power of hands-on energy healing. Her multi-cultural focus allows her to be open and ready for all of life’s gifts in her work. By embracing a wide and open faith perspective, she empowers her clients to find safe passage towards their highest selves and greatest health potentials. Initiating her Reiki practice in 2001, she’s had the fortune of exploring different careers, including journalism, literature and nursing. Bravely launching her Massage Therapy practice in 2013, she sees her hands as instruments of benevolent strength and kindness, allowing her to create a better world - one massage and one Reiki session at a time.

Licensed Massage Therapist and Master Reiki Teacher. Meta-Consciousness Practitioner.

• Reiki Practitioner since 2001.

• Reiki Master Teacher certification from Libby Barnett in 2012.

• Graduated from Cortiva Institute - Boston in 2013, fulfilling a rigorous 750 hours hands-on training in varied techniques, including Swedish, Sports and Therapeutic Massage, Myofascial Release. 

• Continuing education in Acupressure/Shiatsu and Lomi-Lomi Massage.

• BA in English Literature from University of Massachusetts, Boston 2008.

• Reiki Practitioner for Brigham and Women’s Hospital Reiki Volunteer Program from 2008 - 2013.

• Volunteered and apprenticed with Maria Mathay, founder of the Massage Therapy program at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston  through 2012.

Fees are donation-only, based on sliding scale fees that aim at making my practice sustainable yet available to all those who seek Massage Therapy and Reiki as part of their on-going healing programs.  Let’s discuss safe and sustainable donation based options that may allow you to welcome Massage and/or Reiki as part of your long-term, preventative treatment plan for optimal health.
